Mr Brian L.Y. Cheng

Mr. Cheng is the director of GreenWalls Bioengineering (HK) and he has been responsible for the design, research and implementation of innovative bioengineered greening systems and nano-structured coating systems for the company since 2000. Before forming GreenWalls, he was an engineer, drilling & micro-tunneling and grouting specialist, and concrete repair & waterproofing expert with over 30 years of geotechnical and civil construction experience. Mr. Cheng was an engineering director directly involved in major slope stabilization, soil nailing, ground settlement, ground investigation & instrumentation and foundation works for LPM projects of Hong Kong. He also involved in many basement & tunneling waterproofing projects in Hong Kong. With his extensive experience in ground engineering and research in green technologies, Mr. Cheng had developed various greening systems and nano-structured coating systems which are currently adopted by many architects, developers, property management company and government departments of Hong Kong. Mr. Cheng was not only a pioneer in greening development in Hong Kong but also a developer and applicator of geothermal technologies for Wetlands Parks in HK for global energy saving (zero carbon emission heat exchange system) development. He currently also serves as executive director of Nano-coatings, Greening & Bio-technology incorporations in Hong Kong and Canada.
